WAAPA's Symphonic Wind Ensemble explores the extremes of human emotion in a concert of contrasts.
Stephen Bryant's epic work Ecstatic Waters pits the expression of our young musicians against the rigour and power of electronic sounds – and the result is exhilarating! This concert also features the sublime classic Concertino for Flute and Wind Ensemble by Cécile Chaminade, expertly performed by WAAPA's own flute tutor, Michael Howell.
