Under the direction of Ron Nyisztor, Nyisztor Studio has been operating as an independent artist run initiative since 2006. The aim is to establish regular profiles of associated artists overseas and interstate.

The main gallery space is located in Melville – Palmyra, WA. Housed in a converted library it has become a favoured alternative arts venue; the 1960s modernist styled building lends itself to showcasing conceptual ideas as well as a broad interest of visual approaches and innovative mediums.

Affording good exposure, Nyisztor Studio has successfully gained a reputation as a dedicated gallery space with high quality and intelligently curated shows. The exhibition schedule is flexible and allows for longer or shorter durations of shows.

Two painting studios are incorporated in the space and occupied by artist Ron Nyisztor and guest artists.

Exhibiting partnerships have been formed with galleries and project spaces nationally.Nyisztor Studio also exhibits internationally across Europe and Asia.
