Highly-strung Emmett is directing a 'whodunnit' at the local village hall, but when Hyacinth Bucket manages to get herself cast in the role of 'Lady Malvern', disaster is quickly in the making!
Who can forget Hyacinth Bucket and the havoc she wreaked on her poor neighbours Liz and Emmett (and her own family) in her relentless pursuit of upper-class recognition?
Roy Clarke who created the original series has penned a fabulous stage play version of the show. In this wholly new setting, highly strung Emmett is putting on a 'whodunnit' in the local village hall. When Hyacinth manages to bully her way into playing 'Lady Malvern' Emmett is ready to have a meltdown, with the play careening rapidly towards disaster.
Director Anita Bound has put together a very talented and experienced cast for this great production, which goes on stage from 8 - 23 March 2019.
