Description

Days In The Sun
the music of The Shadows and more

Rupert Guenther presents Days In The Sun in a live show with band, playing the music of The Shadows and other famous instrumentals from the surf culture of the 1960s. These were the sounds which came to epitomise the soundtrack of many people's lives and the beach lifestyle: riding waves, days in the hot summer sun, and nights relaxing under the cavernous starry night sky, with hits such as Apache, Sleepwalk, Wipe Out and more.

Backed by an all-star band, Rupert (who played sideman to the likes of Olivia Newton-John, Beatles producer Sir George Martin, John Farnham, and Demis Rousos) brings his dazzling skills on the electric violin to make an evocative and family friendly all-ages show of some of the greatest tunes ever.
