Grace Armstrong grew up in the small country town of Balingup where solitude is rife, but in that solitude she woke her love for music. The folk/rock/pop outfit have recently released their debut EP 'Good Fortunes' that has caught the eye of Australia. ToneDeaf named Grace as one of 'The 8 Incredible Aussie Artists you need to hear'. She has also appealed to Triple J Unearthed, who featured her in their Artist Spotlight.
Her nature is mesmerising, her songs are beautiful and her band are electric.
Perth based alt-folk band These Winter Nights have spent the better part of six years curating a sound that raises goose bumps and a live performance that is nothing short of captivating. The five piece thrive off the audience’s reaction to their music and endeavour to write cinematic songs that capture the listener, creating a sense of intense anticipation. The band have been lucky enough to support the likes of Birds of Tokyo and Pierce Brothers and look forward to a big year of releases and shows.
Man Sandal brews a bewitching concoction of music influenced by jazz and folk with gypsy woven throughout. This versatile range has made them the band to watch, winning Rock Scholars “Band of the Year” award in 2015. Satisfying three part harmonies, soaring violin solos and a joyful trumpet to tie it all together, this band combines to create an addictive sound that has built Man Sandal a faithful following throughout Perth and beyond.
Defined by it's ethereal nature and emotional delivery, Charlie Wildepulls you in with a deeply personal and yet somehow accessible message. With influences ranging from Bon Iver to Keaton Henson and Patrick Watson, Charlie is raw, sincere and epic.
An enigmatic 4 piece band. Borrowing sounds from folk and similar genres, Lilia have cultivated a unique, indie rock sound that is certified to have you toe tapping and reminiscing of hot summer nights.
