There are many different playgroups in WA, with most groups meeting at weekly sessions during school term at a local community venue or school. Some playgroups are large, holding many sessions each week and others are smaller. Most are run by parent volunteers in their local community. There are also playgroups for specific groups including supported playgroups run by a facilitator. Playgroup WA is the peak body in WA for playgroups, providing support and advocacy.
