Mulberry Homes Mount Lawley

Residential Designs

Description

In an era where there is no real sense of ‘new’ design, Mulberry Homes is focusing on what it does best - contemporary space with traditional style.

Mulberry Homes took over the federation-style home in Mt Lawley during the early stages of construction.

The brief was to complete the new home in keeping with its theme, from structural elements to top-quality finishes. Landscaping was also to be finished to fulfil the client’s brief of a quality home with very high standards in all areas of building.

Charles Arnott of Mulberry Homes says: “We specialise in restoring old-style homes in areas such as Subiaco, but the Mt Lawley property is a brand new home in every detail.”

True period style is created throughout with only the highest quality of subcontractors, workmanship and materials accepted to achieve the final outcome. Tuck-pointed red brickwork sets the federation tone from the exterior, continued by high level ceilings and doorways upon entry.

The builder was meticulous in ensuring the old-world theme was mirrored throughout every room of the home. Jarrah floors are framed by ornate cornices and skirtings with key archways providing a statement upon entry into multiple
rooms.

Standout features include the generously sized master bedroom on the ground level with an adjoining marble-clad ensuite featuring a step-up spa.

The formal lounge perfectly exudes the high quality finishes of the home, with bay windows and antique furnishings complementing the structural workmanship.

Modern luxuries aren’t lost within the federation style, with the inclusion of a home theatre room with drop-down screen and mood lighting.

A roofed alfresco area leads to the wide swimming pool, with complementary landscaping providing the final touch to the outdoor space.
