This open and modern home is in keeping with Sodaa’s sustainable values. The Mediterranean fruit and vegetable garden is watered entirely by greywater and the house has a substantial solar power system and rainwater collection system.
Designed by Sodaa and built by Omega Homes, it’s orientated according to solar passive principles and has a north-facing courtyard and south-facing verandah overlooking a park, so outdoor living is possible year-round.
The courtyard is great for entertaining and family life as it’s set up for cooking and also for screening movies, which creates a casual yet sophisticated atmosphere.
A key feature of the interior design is the double-storey library that is part of the staircase.
