All doors, mouldings and lacquering in this project were custom designed and manufactured by Western Cabinets, while the benchtop was fabricated by WA Marble and Granite.
The client’s previous kitchen was dark, dated and congested. The brief was to replace this with a functional, yet light and fresh approach that complements the client’s furnishings and overall feel of their Dalkeith home.
The client requested a French provincial style of kitchen complete with a chimney-breast style of cabinetry around the cooking area.
The creation of the island bench allows great flow around the kitchen, ideal for entertaining friends and family.
The cabinetry doors and mouldings were designed to be light in detail, while the walk-in corner pantry and pullout drawers
offer ample storage.
Traditional-style pewter basket knobs and handles complete the overall look.
