Description
In 2009 MJA was commissioned by the Royal Freshwater Bay Yacht Club to design a new Function room, kitchen and verandah as well as renovating their existing Dining room.
The MJA scheme provides a sharp contemporary steel and glass addition with a tensile fabric roof and timber decks which cantilever out over the cliff and take full advantage of its spectacular location.
The design process involved substantial consultation with Club members, The Swan River Trust, Department of Environment and Conservation and the Shire of Peppermint Grove.
