One of Perth’s best-kept secrets is the West Australian Rowing Club – its picturesque position over the Swan River provides a down to earth, visually stunning experience.
As a dedicated not-for-profit organistion, the West Australian Rowing Club's main goal is to make its clients happy.
The club is willing to suit all budgets, and accommodate any function, whether it is a casual gathering, an art exhibition, or a wedding with a seven-piece band.
The location here is key – being so close to the Swan River is something that just has to be experienced. Its proximity to the Canning Bridge train station and taxi locations makes travel to-and-from simple.

The two-storey heritage building was originally built in 1905 and has been beautifully maintained by volunteers and rowers.
The River Room's floorboards add character to any wedding, corporate or private event. Double doors open out to the wraparound balcony, with a stunning view out over the Swan River.
To add to the party vibe, a flatscreen TV is mounted above the bar, perfect for slideshows.
The functions manager is happy to assist with any set up/down, and can recommend caterers and entertainers who have worked with the venue for many years.

Where | Located on Riverside Drive, right on the Swan River.
Numbers | For cocktail style events the maximum capacity is 130. Sit-down events can accommodate 80 guests (the minimum is 50 guests, negotiable on minimum spending).
Food | This is a self-catering venue. Caterers can make use of the kitchen's two sinks, small fridge space, small freezer space and urn, or set up their own mobile kitchen.
Drink | Packages are available (consumption and price per head). There is a variety of reasonably priced modern wines and beers, updated yearly depending on vintages and seasons.
