Once a flour mill, this century-old building features historical fabric and original materials throughout the venue, including beautiful pressed-tin ceilings, polished floorboards, steel beams, wooden staircase, and feature doors and windows.

The bar and cafe are located on the ground floor, offering a relaxed and intimate vibe, while the open-air sky deck features a lush vertical wall garden. An award-winning, architecturally designed venue, Venn's unique space is highly recognised, with Matthews and Scavalli Architecture and Geyer awarded three Design Institute of Australia (WA) awards in the categories of Interior Design – Retail, Interior Design – Hospitality, and Best in State for the redevelopment of Venn and its interior spaces. In 2012, Mathews and Scavalli Architecture also won the competitive Julius Elischer Interior Architecture Award at the Australian Institute of Architects.
