WA Museum Boola Bardip has finally opened, and with it, a brand-new casual dining experience, Epoch, featuring dishes inspired by native WA, complete with locally sourced ingredients.

Exterior Cafe

An epoch is a definitive moment in time, which is a fitting name considering the new café’s situation within the museum. Located just off Beaufort Street, it’s well placed as a spot for museum visitors and passers-by to enjoy a rotating seasonal menu, as well as a fully licensed beverage menu.

Breakfast

There’s an all-day menu which features breakfast and brunch favourites, as well as more substantial dishes available later in the day and an a la carte menu designed just for kids and families. Native ingredients to look out for include Quandong, White Kunzea, Kakadu Plum, Red Centre Lime and Warrigal Greens, which reflect the natural and native history focus of the museum itself.

All of the beverages on offer are sourced from WA, including favourites like Gage Roads and Matso’s, as well as Vasse Felix’s brand-new Idée Fixe Sparkling.
