Whiteman Park has over 30 picnic and shade shelters available to hire - conveniently located near barbeque facilities and amenities. Shelters F, G1, G2, J1 and J2 in the Village East are located near the Village Cafe, mini pool playground, and the motor and tractor museums.
Village West Shelters A, B1, B2 and C are located near Revolutions Transport Museum and the tram stop and train station at the Village Junction. Whereas Shelters D1, D2, E1, E2, K and L are located near the Village Playground and special interest shops in the mall.
Mussel Pool provides an idyllic setting for a natural outdoor wedding. Wedding ceremonies can be booked from 10 am - 4 pm from January to November.
Shelters P1 and P2 are positioned inside Pia's Place, the all abilities playspace in Mussel Pool East - other Shelters in this area are R, S, T, U and V.
Shelters Q1, Q2, W, X1, X2, Y1, Y2 and Z are located in Mussel Pool West.
