Description

Campbell's Cove Werribee is a unique coastal region located in Werribee South, Victoria.

This historic site has a range of attractions and activities to offer visitors, including beautifully painted boat houses, interesting rock formations, and an opportunity to engage with the region's rich history.

Campbell's Cove is located at the end of Cunninghams Road, Werribee South, Victoria. You can get there by driving along Campbells Cove Road eastwards, which runs along the 5m high basalt bluffs.

Each house is numbered and adorned with bright, beautiful colours. Most have timber/fibro walls, with iron roofing. Many have boats tied up at the front of the houses, parked on trailers or are equipped with boat ramps. These historical structures are described as boat houses or holiday houses, and they have lots of landscape interest.

Materials used for construction vary greatly, including brick, corrugated iron, timber and fibro, with iron roofing. Most have wide and high double doorways on the waterfront elevation, with few additional openings.
