Description

The Wanneroo Museum provides a range of stories and themes based on the development of the area, from our Indigenous past, pioneers through to modern Wanneroo and its incredible recent evolution.

This attractive, modern museum has an exhibition space, climate controlled storage as well as cleaning and conservation areas. The exhibition space is based on a number of themes built around Wanneroo Road with objects ranging in size from a road roller to a single egg scale.

The Wanneroo Regional Museum has a popular education program and outreach resources for local schools. The Museum also has ongoing public programs including school holiday activities to entertain the whole family.

The Community History Centre forms an important part of the Museum space, providing an extensive collection about the history and heritage of Wanneroo including books, pamphlets, photographs, maps, oral history interviews, archive material and newspapers.
