Some parts of the park are temporarily closed due to the construction of the Causeway Pedestrian and Cyclist Bridge. The park is open from 5:00 am to 10:00 pm all year round and can be accessed through public transportation, specifically the local bus route, Transperth No. 72.

McCollum Park WA is an expansive 78-acre park in Snohomish County that offers many recreation opportunities. It features a swimming pool, sports fields, BMX bike track, walking path, and picnic tables. The park has a rich history, once owned by the Merrill & Ring Lumber Company and improved by the Pioneers of Emander. It offers various recreational opportunities, including nature trails, ball fields, walking paths, and a BMX Bicycle Association. The Northwest Stream Center and Adopt-A-Stream Foundation Center are also located within the park, offering educational programs and interpretive boardwalks. The park and ride located next to McCollum Park provides transit connections throughout the region. Visitors can extend their hike by exploring the North Creek Trail that heads south from the park.
