Apart from the annual Toora Pear Party, visitors can pick heritage pears from the orchard. The pear-picking season lasts for three months, and visitors can pay $6 a bag for some pear varieties most people have never heard of, let alone tasted. The harvest season is in March, so it is the best time to visit the orchard and try the pears.

Toora is located approximately 179 kilometers southeast of Melbourne on the South Gippsland Highway, between Leongatha and Yarram. The town is only a two-hour drive from Melbourne and ten minutes from Foster, Port Franklin, and Welshpool.

Visitors can explore the Toora Heritage Walk, which showcases historic buildings and landmarks from the town's past. Mauzie's Most Marvellous Vintage offers unique vintage finds and local crafts made by talented locals.
