Murray Darling Scenic Flights

As a fifth-generation farmer, Peter McDonald is passionate about the southern Murray Darling Basin and its breathtaking landscapes.

With his wife Wendy, they founded Murray Darling Scenic Flights to share their knowledge of the area with travelers. From Barmah in the east to Mildura in the west, the Central Murray basin is full of diverse and significant landscapes, from redgum forests and wetlands to agricultural areas and ancient desert lakes. Peter and Wendy operate flights out of Sea Lake and Swan Hill Airports to the stunning salt lake system of Lake Tyrrell in Northern Victoria and to other destinations, such as Lake Mungo, Yanga National Park, Gayini Wetlands and the Murray River. They also offer personalized itineraries and charter flights, departing from Deniliquin Airport. Peter and Wendy care deeply for the River Country and want to share its beauty with everyone.
