Description

Ravenscroft Vineyard is a boutique vineyard and small-batch winery, founded by award-winning winemaker Mark Ravenscroft situated in the cool climate of Queensland’s Granite Belt region.

Caitlin and Nick Roberts acquired Ravenscroft from Mark in 2021, who continues as principal winemaker and mentor.

Just 12kms west of Stanthorpe and 950m above sea level, it is one of the area’s highest vineyards, where nutrient-dense and ancient granite soils, combined with hot summers and frosty winters ensure its grapes ripen to their full potential and are bursting with flavour.

Small yields mean that all grapes on the vineyard are lovingly tended to, hand harvested and made on site with minimal intervention and additives.

Their cider is pressed and fermented using local Stanthorpe apples in a crisp, dry style and has been described as ‘a cider for people who don’t like cider’.

Crafting small-batch, premium quality wines and cider is at the heart of this family-run vineyard and they hope you enjoy them as much as they love making them.
