Located in the heart of Tamar Valley, Brady's Lookout Rosevears is a unique attraction that provides visitors with an opportunity to learn about the history of Mathew Brady, the infamous bushranger who once used this place as his hideout.

With ample parking, toilets, and all-access ramps, this is an ideal spot for a picnic lunch and taking selfies with the panoramic views of Tamar River and beyond.

The highlight of Brady's Lookout Rosevears is the breathtaking views it offers of the Tamar River and the surrounding landscapes. Visitors can access several viewing platforms that are placed right on the cliff edge, with an escarpment plunging 140 meters below. The vista extends over 120 kilometers to the Ben Lomond massif in the south and almost all the way to the coast and the Bass Strait to the north. The beauty of the landscape is awe-inspiring, especially during sunrise and sunset, and makes for an ideal destination for nature-loving photographers.

In addition to the scenic beauty, the lookout also features informative signage about Mathew Brady, the bushranger. Brady's Lookout Rosevears can be visited all year round. Nevertheless, visitors should keep in mind that Tamar Valley experiences distinct seasons. The summer months of December to February are warm, providing ideal conditions for a picnic lunch with family and friends or to take pictures of the scenic beauty, whereas the months of June to August are the coolest and can sometimes require warm clothing.
