The silhouette statues of six Aboriginal men standing on one leg with a spear in one hand can also be viewed while at the lookout. These statues represent the Ngarluma people's neighbors, each facing their own country, adding cultural significance to the panoramic views.

Mt Welcome Lookout is accessible throughout the year, but it is recommended to visit during the cooler months of the year, as the temperatures can soar high during summer.
