Located at 20 Henzell Street, Redcliffe, the Redcliffe Botanic Gardens offer a calm escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.

With a variety of picturesque and shaded areas, the gardens are perfect for picnics, celebrations, or simply enjoying a quiet moment amid the natural beauty.

The Redcliffe Botanic Gardens are open seven days a week, from 6 am to 6 pm, and offer free admission. The gardens are wheelchair accessible, with plenty of walking paths designed to make it easy to move around. Parking, including disabled parking, is available onsite.

The gardens are an excellent place to explore the world of herbs. With over 500 species of herbs used in cooking, medicine, and industry, the Peninsula Herb Garden is claimed to have the best collection of herbs in the state. Guided tours can also be arranged.

For a serene escape, the Chorizema Spring, is an excellent place to visit. This water feature works like a natural pond system, springing from a spring under rocks, and inhabited by tree frogs.

The Moreton Region Rainforest is another of the garden's highlights, occupying almost a quarter of the gardens. This shady enclave is home to more than 250 rainforest species native to Moreton Bay, as well as over 1,000 bats!

The Wallum Heathland comes alive in the spring and early summer with the blooming of wildflowers alongside banksia plants. The garden is so beautiful that it's not uncommon for people, especially little girls, to go "fairy spotting."

Finally, the Quota Garden and Amphitheatre offer a sensory experience, with the native garden taken care of by the Society for Growing Australian Plants. You might
