Description

Hazeldean Quandary is a fifth generation family farm located near Temora.

They offer day visits for four to ten guests, with prior bookings required at least 24 hours in advance.

During your visit, you can take a guided tour of the Pioneers Cottage and explore the two railway carriages used in the Country Carriage Bed and Breakfast. The cottage displays family memorabilia from the late 1800s to the 1920s, and you can also learn about the farming history and practices of the region through their collection of horse drawn farming equipment. Don't forget to meet their two Clydesdales, a popular attraction on the farm.

After the farm tour, you can enjoy an old-fashioned morning tea in the beautiful country garden, which features over 200 roses and a water garden. This is a perfect setting for a family outing, catching up with friends, or even a corporate event.

If you're interested in exploring the area further, the 1920s heritage village of Ariah Park is just a 15-minute drive away. You can pick up a free booklet from the farm for a self-guided tour of the village, which provides historical information about the buildings. There are also dining options available in Ariah Park, including takeaway meals from the Ariah Park Cafe and lunch and evening meals at the Ariah Park hotel.

To complete your day in the area, you can visit the Temora Aviation Museum, which showcases historic warbirds, or explore the Bundawarrah Centre, a destination for art and culture with exhibitions throughout the year.
