It is located just over 200km from the city and features thousands of tall limestone spires rising from the yellow desert sands. The park offers scenic drives and walk trails, as well as a rich variety of flora and fauna.

The Pinnacles Desert is surrounded by coastal plains, white sand dunes, and stunning swimming beaches. Visitors can also explore Lake Thetis and discover stromatolites, rock-like structures that date back to the dawn of life on Earth.

In addition to exploring the desert, visitors can enjoy swimming in the park's beaches, which are protected in the Jurien Bay Marine Park. Nambung National Park is a great day trip from Perth and offers year-round interest.

The park is accessible at any time of the year, but it is best to avoid the summer months due to high temperatures. The wildflower bloom from August to October is a particularly stunning sight.
