Murrindindi Cascades is located at the southern end of Murrindindi Scenic Reserve in Victoria, Australia.

Surrounded by lush greenery, it offers a stunning view of the cascades from various angles, making it a perfect spot for photographers and nature lovers. The reserve covers almost 17,000 hectares and is home to a wide range of flora and fauna, providing visitors with an opportunity to connect with nature.

The cascades themselves are a breathtaking sight, and the walking track leading to them is equally beautiful. The track is about 1.5 km return and takes approximately 45 minutes to complete. Visitors can follow the first 600 meters of the Murrindindi River Walk from the Cascades Picnic Area to reach the cascades. There are several platforms where the cascades can be viewed, allowing visitors to observe and appreciate their beauty. Additionally, two footbridges at the base of the river provide a unique perspective of the cascades.

The Murrindindi Scenic Reserve is open daily from dawn till dusk, allowing visitors to plan their visit according to their convenience. The cascades are particularly impressive during the rainy season, which occurs between June and October. To reach the Murrindindi Scenic Reserve, visitors can take a 2-hour drive from Melbourne via the Maroondah Highway. They should then take the B360 road to Alexandra and reach the reserve.
