Mount Kembla Lookout is a must-visit destination in the Illawarra region, offering breathtaking panoramic views of Lake Illawarra and the coastline.
It is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers, with several hiking trails to explore. The Ring and Summit tracks are challenging yet fascinating, taking you through lush green forests to an elevation of 670 meters above sea level. The views from the top are spectacular, spanning from Stanwell Park to Shellharbour. While there are no facilities at the lookout, there is a small parking area available. It is recommended to visit all year-round, with early mornings or evenings advised during the summer months. The lookout is accessible via a 30-minute uphill walk from Mt Kembla Village or by car through Cordeaux Road newline.
