Description
Shark Bay World Heritage Drive Hamelin Pool is located 800km from Perth and is the only Australian World Heritage Site in Western Australia.
The drive trail covers 160 kilometers and takes several days to complete, starting from Overlander and finishing at Monkey Mia. Visitors can explore the unique highlights of Shark Bay, including the seagrass beds, Shell Beach, dolphins in Monkey Mia, and stromatolites in Hamelin Bay. The best time to visit is during the shoulder seasons, and visitors can gather information at the Shark Bay World Heritage Discovery Centre. The drive is accessible by car from Carnarvon or through guided tours.
