FREE Junkadelic Art Collective - Percussion Workshop
Come and get funky with Junkadelic in this percussion workshop!
In this workshop, you will be shown how to make all types of junk percussion instruments including drums, shakers, bells, clapping sticks and even reed horns!
After a series of jam sessions, you will soon catch on to the rhythm and will feel yourself able to jam with the Junkadelic core group. You will also learn simple second line dance/strut moves – so you can really get into the groove while participating in the performance.
What you'll get
• An eight-piece brass band to utilise during the workshop.
• Your own junk instrument and an introduction to rhythms that are at the core of many popular music grooves.
