Description
Fremantle is a unique location to honour Anzac Day as it was the last Australian experience many soldiers and sailors had before departing our shores to join the war effort overseas.
Anzac Day Dawn service:
The traditional silent dawn service will be held at the Fremantle War Memorial, home to the plaques honouring the 849 Fremantle servicemen and women who failed to return from WW1.

5.50 – 6.30am
Transport
There will be early trains operating by Transperth for the service. There will also be a shuttle bus taking patrons to and from the train station and Beach St carpark to Monument Hill on the day. VIP’s and those with accessibility requirements will have parking available at Monument Hill accessible from Knutsford St.
North Fremantle Service
The Fallen Soldier War Memorial in North Fremantle will hold a community service following the Dawn service.

Transport
There will be limited parking and patrons are encouraged to walk/utilise public transport.
Anzac Day March
The morning commemorations will conclude with the traditional Anzac Day March through the streets of Fremantle finishing at Walyalup Koort.
