Discover all the magic Alison Lester has created during her career as a children's author and illustrator - and you might even get to meet Alison herself!

Opened in late 2014, the Alison Lester Gallery- Bookshop is a dedicated 'Alison Lester' wonderland with over 70 different Limited Edition prints on display and available to buy along with all of Alison's books. Nestled in the middle of the Fish Creek landscape that inspired classics such as My Farm, Magic Beach and The Quicksand Pony.

Inside is examples of preliminary working drawings, sketches and displays of how Alison develops ideas and the process of turning those ideas into a picture book. In particular, a folio with lots of sketches from some of her earlier books. There is also a great "reading library' for the kids, and the young at heart, where you can come in grab a book off the shelf, relax on one of the lounges or grab a cushion on the floor and share some of Alison's wonderful stories.
