To reach Elizabeth Beach Picnic Area, it is approximately a three and a half hours' drive north of Sydney. From Sydney, take the Pacific Highway towards Newcastle, then continue on the A1 north to Bulahdelah. Turn onto The Lakes Way and continue for about 20 minutes. Finally, turn right onto Lakeside Crescent, and the picnic area will be on your right.

The picnic area provides facilities for visitors, including public restrooms and showers.
