Description

The Rock Correa Interpretive Walking Track at Tallis Wine Dookie offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Dookie hills.

Along the track, there are eleven points with interpretive signage that highlight the natural and cultural significance of the region. This includes information about the flora and fauna species of the grassy woodland, early European settlement, and recognition of the Yorta Yorta people as the traditional owners of the land.

Visitors to the track can take the time to read the informative interpretive signage and appreciate the stunning panoramic view from the pinnacle. The Rock Correa Interpretive Walking Track is a great way to learn about the history, natural, and cultural values of the local region.

The track is open during Tallis Wine cellar door hours, closing one hour prior to closing time. Tallis Wine Dookie's opening hours are from 10 am to 5 pm, Wednesday to Sunday.

When walking the track, it is important to watch your step, wear sturdy footwear, and be aware of kangaroos and snakes, especially in warmer months. It is also recommended to bring enough water, a hat, long pants, and sunscreen for a safe walk.

The Rock Correa Interpretive Walking Track is a collaborative effort between the Tallis Family, the Yorta Yorta Nation Aboriginal Corporation, and Goulburn Broken CMA. This collaboration has been made possible through funding from the National Landcare Programme.

We encourage visitors to take the opportunity to explore the Rock Correa Interpretive Walking Track and discover its natural, cultural, and historical significance.
