Located in Dookie, Victoria, Mulana Nin Iyoga Walking Trail Mount Major is a 4.6 kilometres return walk that takes you to the top of Mount Major, offering breathtaking views of Dookie and the surrounding hills, Dookie Agricultural College, and the ranges to the south and east.

Along the way, you will walk through a yellow box woodland to the summit with interpretive signs along the trail offering an insight into the area's rich cultural history.

As you begin the walk-up, you follow the slope up towards the head of the gully, where you can see spectacular views of the ranges to the south and east. The yellow box woodland is a beautiful natural attraction that arches over and around the pathway as you trek upwards. Reaching the top, you continue across the plateau to a directional cairn on the southern side, which offers views of Dookie Agricultural College and the ranges to the south and east. The trail offers magnificent scenic views at every turn, making it a must-do for visitors.

The ideal time to visit the hiking trail is from April to October. During these months, the weather is mild, and the trail is less busy, allowing you to enjoy the serenity and the views. Mulana Nin Iyoga Walking Trail Mount Major is located about 2 km from the town of Dookie. From Melbourne, take the Hume Freeway, use the Shepparton exit, then follow the signs to Dookie. Once you arrive, follow Mount Major Road to the trailhead.
