Description

The Cremorne Foreshore Walk, also known as Cremorne Point Walk, is a scenic 2km walk along the Sydney Harbour.

It offers mesmerizing views and is a must-do if you have limited time in Sydney. The walk can be completed in around one hour, but you can take more time to enjoy the views and explore the gardens.

During the walk, you will come across several stunning sights. These include a harbourside swimming pool with federation style picket fences, views across the harbor to the Sydney Opera House, the Robertson Point Lighthouse, and the Lex and Ruby Graham Gardens.

To start the walk, exit the Cremorne Point ferry wharf and head to the left along the foreshore. You can also visit the Maccallum Pool, a lovely harbor pool with views of the Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge. The walk is lined with large houses, some of which were converted to apartments. Cremorne Point Reserve, once home to the Cremorne Pleasure Gardens, is now a popular spot for picnickers.

The walk ends at Mosman Rowers, where you can stop for a drink or have lunch before returning to the ferry. The walk can be done at any time of the year, but it is recommended to visit during the warmer months to fully enjoy the Maccallum Pool and the Lex and Ruby Graham Gardens.

To get to the walk, you can take the Mosman Ferry service from Cremorne Point Ferry Wharf, the first stop. It is recommended to use public transport as street parking is limited.
