Territory Day Park Christmas Island is a nature trail that allows visitors to explore the natural beauty of Christmas Island.

The park offers stunning coastal views and the chance to experience the island's rainforests. It is equipped with picnic tables, BBQs, and a playground.

Visitors can start their journey by heading to the lookout point within Territory Day Park, which provides a breathtaking view of Flying Fish Cove and the town. Along the trail, they can spot seabirds and continue towards the historical Tai Jin House located at the west end of the cove. They can then hike around the point and further explore the area.

In addition to hiking the park, visitors can also explore the Settlement, the main part of the Christmas Island town center. They can visit attractions like the Chinese Museum and the former district officer's residence. Tai Jin House, once the Administrator's house, is now a museum that shares the island's history. The Christmas Island Visitor Centre is also worth a visit for more information about things to do on the island. Visitors can enjoy a meal at one of the eateries before driving through the national park to Hughs Dale, where a short rainforest walk leads to a beautiful jungle waterfall. The high season is late spring and summer (November to February), when visitors can witness the migration of red crabs to the sea to spawn. Divers can also explore the island's coral reefs.
