Experience the beauty of Budderoo National Park, a stunning 7,219-hectare (17,840-acre) national park located in the Illawarra region of New South Wales, Australia, just 99 kilometres (62 mi) south southwest of Sydney.

Managed by the National Parks & Wildlife Service, the park is home to the well-known timber boardwalk that winds through the heart of the Minnamurra rainforest. It boasts several impressive waterfalls, making for perfect picnic and barbecue spots, surrounded by lush greenery. The visitors centre provides all the necessary information for a journey into the park.

Adjoining to the eastern border of the park is the Barren Grounds Nature Reserve, and the Yarrawa State Forest is located nearby to its western border. Budderoo National Park is part of the incredible 7,334-hectare (18,120-acre) Budderoo and Barren Grounds Important Bird Area, recognized for its abundant and diverse wildlife. The park provides habitat for various endangered species, including the eastern bristlebirds, while the mosaic of sandstone heath and eucalypt woodland habitats provide perfect nesting and feeding grounds for smaller numbers of pilotbirds and rockwarblers.
