Description

Station Creek Barcoongere is a remote and desolate beach located in the southernmost part of the Clarence Valley.

Although a 4WD is not required, accessing Station Creek can be a bit challenging. The campground at Station Creek is small, quiet, and peaceful, situated next to the estuary. It is an ideal spot for fishing, canoeing, and swimming. A short walk through scribbly gum and corkwood trees leads to the beach, which offers stunning views of the Pebbly Beach campground. Visitors can enjoy activities like swimming, sunbathing, and walking in this wild and vast environment.

Station Creek Barcoongere can be visited throughout the year, but spring and summer are the best seasons to witness the nesting and breeding habitats of oystercatchers, terns, and curlews. Roped-off areas protect the birdlife, allowing visitors to admire them. To reach Station Creek Barcoongere, take the Pacific Highway, the main coastal road, and turn into Station Creek Road. The campground is located at the end of the road.

If you want to experience the beautiful and serene wilderness of Station Creek Barcoongere, booking a few nights at the small campground is an excellent option. It provides an opportunity to explore the secluded beach and the surrounding areas.
