Established in 2008, the Mitchell Harris team have been creating wines with elegance and finesse, reflecting the cool-climate characters of our nearby regions. Based in our home town of Ballarat, and surrounded by the great vineyards of Western and Central Victoria, winemaker John Harris works closely with our growers in the Pyrenees, Macedon, and Ballarat wine regions to craft wines that show distinctive varietal characters and reflect the unique vineyard, region and seasonal variations.,In 2013 the team at Mitchel Harris opened a cellar door and wine bar in a 150 year old former electric motor workshop and tentmakers in the heart of the Ballarat CBD. The Mitchell Harris wine bar's award winning venue and wine list celebrates the great wines of the Pyrenees and Western Victoria alongside world class wines from the rest of Victoria, Australia and beyond, paired to it's modern Australian menu featuring local produce sourced from neighbouring regions.
