04 Christopher Redfern (expired event)

Christopher Redfern could draw before he could talk and after extensive training in Visual Arts, now paints in oils using his wife, baby and dog as his muses.

Christopher is opening his studio for the Blackwood River Arts Trail 2024 to provide an insight into his exploration of the human condition through his arts practice. Having to contend with some traumatic life experiences both as a child and an adult he has used his art to express his responses. His oil painting practice is often a way to express everyday experiences of alienation and connection despite adversity from a fractured colonial environment.
