The Allotment Cottage

The Allotment Cottage is a lovingly restored worker's cottage in Old Albany, combining elegance and relaxed luxury- just a few minutes' from the main street with shopping, cafes, bars and restaurants.

The cottage has been restored to preserve its original features including polished jarrah floorboards and timber lined walls and ceilings. Downstairs includes 2 queen size bedrooms and a bunk room to sleep 4, with adjacent bathroom including a deep freestanding bath and separate shower. The open plan kitchen, living and dining area opens on to a sheltered courtyard of recycled bricks and lily pond. Also downstairs is a laundry with separate toilet. Upstairs leads to a large queen size ensuite bedroom with views over the harbour and Mount Clarence.

The adjacent block is our "allotment", where we have planted vegetable gardens, raise chickens and grow fruit trees.

The house is within easy walking distance to the centre of town with farmers markets, restaurants, cafes and bars with space for 2 cars in the driveway.

You'll be staying in a quiet, leafy street yet only a couple of minutes walk from town and the famous Saturday farmers market. Parade St park is one block away with a playground for the kids and a dog-friendly park.

We are dog friendly with an enclosed garden adjacent to the chicken coop.
