Award-winning design, attention to detail, and a dedication to bringing a client’s dream to life creates cutting-edge, innovative homes.

GEOGRAPHE BAY

Winning the 2014 South West HIA Innovation in Housing Project of the Year, this magnificent home was designed by Dane Richardson from Dane Design Australia, and built by Tallwood Constructions.

Whether it is the unbelievably long cantilevered balcony and roof, concrete roof, cedar bi-fold shutters, lift, glass-walled cellar room, cabinetry, tiling, or just the overall exceptional level of detail and finish, this home is cutting-edge.

The modern design leaves the casual observer wondering how the cantilevered balcony and roof have been achieved.

Externally, the bold elements are sharp, including textured coated render and rough-sawn cedar battens.

Located on the shores of Geographe Bay in Dunsborough, the home is complemented by a concrete plunge pool, boat storage and fish-cleaning station.
Internally, the floating timber stairs wrap around the central lift, which deposits you at the cellar room.

Your attention is then immediately drawn to the feature fireplace in the living area, which leads the eye to the meals area and the turquoise waters of Geographe Bay beyond.

The first-floor balcony has rough-sawn, cedar bi-fold shutters to allow a superb indoor/outdoor living room.
