If you’re a film buff who is devastated about the cancellation of film festivals around the world, then you’ll be happy to know that 20 of the world’s biggest festivals have joined together to create a 10-day digital festival, running May 29 - June 7.

We are One: Global Film Festival will be streamed on YouTube, featuring films from Berlin International Film Festival, Festival de Cannes, Sundance, Venice Film Festival and more.

This is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in stories from around the world and watch internationally acclaimed films by the world's best up and coming filmmakers.

Through the digital event, audiences will not only be exposed to different cultures via foreign language films and cultural contexts, they’ll be able to support communities affected by COVID-19.

Whilst programming will be available for free, and includes films, short documentaries, music, and comedy, viewers are encouraged to donate to organisations helping provide relief for those affected by COVID, with funds raised benefiting the World Health Organisation COVID-19 Solidarity Fund.

A full schedule will be available closer to the festival start date.
