Scoop is offering a limited number of Content Writing Internships (unpaid) to university graduates and final-year students.
You will work with the Content Marketing team with a focus on generating timely, high-quality blog content for publication on scoop.com.au, social media and other media platforms. You will also be required to assist with listing management and other related tasks as required. For budding writers and journalists, this is a great opportunity to develop valuable skills, have work published and get feedback from an editor with more than 20 years’ experience.
The aim of this internship is to develop professional writing skills, so only applicants with strong existing writing skills need apply. Due to COVID-19, our office is currently closed, so while some in-house training is available, your internship will be mostly conducted remotely. We still ask that you allocate two full days per week (8.30am – 5pm) for a minimum of three months.
Anyone interested should send a CV and brief covering letter explaining why they are interested in the position to [email protected] with the subject line ‘Writing Internship Application’. Please include several writing samples – applications without samples will not be considered.
Applications close this Saturday (April 18), with training to be conducted next week.
