Perth is set to get a little chillier this year, as The Winter Village comes to town on May 28, 2021. An alpine-inspired winter wonderland, the mega pop-up features an ice skating rink, igloo village, daily snow showers and plenty of cosy comfort food and warm beverages.

Popping up at the Ice Cream Factory in Northbridge, The Winter Village will be open daily running until September 5, so there are plenty of opportunities to visit. The exciting new space is perfect for a fun day in the city with family, a night out with friends or even your next corporate bonding event.

Whether you’re living Ice Princess or Blades of Glory life, or just like to skate around the rink, ice skating passes can be booked online, with 45min sessions available during the opening hours, for anyone aged 3 years and older. There are four scheduled snow showers a day, so get your camera ready for aesthetic winter shots without the freezing temperatures.

Igloos and cabins can be pre-booked to ensure you and your friends get the best spot to enjoy a warm meal. You can buy food and drinks on site, or pre-book with your igloo reservation – there are plenty of different options to suit the occasion, including a special Brunch & Skate package, which pairs the art of brunching with a 45min ice skating session each weekend.

Entry to The Winter Village is free, and walk-ins can order food & beverages from the pop up bars, and take a pew on the casual outdoor seating available around the venue.
