Get ready for a huge 2 days of cricket, with the Perth Scorchers facing off against the Sydney Sixers this weekend! For the first time this season, the picturesque Lilac Hill is the venue of choice for WBBL. A fan favourite, Lilac Hill Park boasts stunning views of the Swan River.

The first game of the season at Lilac Hill calls for a celebration, and that’s exactly what Perth Scorchers have in mind! Come on down for some family fun, and it’s all free of course. Here’s what they’ll have on alongside the Scorchers games:

Fan of the Match

Perth Scorchers take note when their fans dress up and cheer for their team. That’s why at every game, they crown one lucky punter the ‘Fan of the Match’, with the winner invited onto the field after the game. Get those crazy orange outfits ready for your chance to win!

Giveaways & Merchandise

It wouldn’t be a Scorcher’s weekend without giveaways! This time, they’ll be giving away Peet 4&6 cards and stress balls (they might come in handy for this nail-biter of a game!). In addition, there will be a merch stand if you’re interested in buying some official Scorchers products.

Food Trucks

Who doesn’t love a good food truck feed? Check out the many food trucks, or grab a good old fashioned sausage sizzle to support a local cricket club. Or, if you fancy a cold one, head on down to the pop-up bar near the clubhouse for a selection of drinks.

Fan Zone Fun

As always, the Lilac Hill weekend will be jam packed with carnival activities for the kids! They can practice their cricket skills with the Scorchers Inflatable Cricket Net, bounce around on the bouncy castle, fly down the water slide or get a Scorchers airbrush tattoo!

Kleenheat Ice Bowling

Kids can test their bowling skills with this ice bowling game! The aim of the game is to slide a piece of ice through the wickets. Trust us, it’s harder than it looks!

Murdoch VR Experience

Try your hand at batting with the Murdoch VR experience! You’ll be up against the best of the best, receiving VR bowls from Matt Kelly and Emma King. Good luck!

Peet’s Classic Catches

Put your catching abilities to the ultimate test with the Peet’s Classic Catches net – make sure you count how many balls you catch out for bragging rights!

The free WBBL Lilac Hill Weekend kicks off at 10am this Saturday. For more information, see here:
