This Friday, the WBBL season will be launching at the WACA Ground, but this is no ordinary season kick off. For the first time, The Women’s Big Bash League is hosting a Festival Weekend – the WBBL Big Weekend – from Friday night to Sunday!

Featuring four matches (including two Scorchers games!), this is the perfect opportunity for fans to meet some of the big names of WBBL, such as Meg Lanning, Elyse Villani and Ellyse Perry.

Special offers and weekend-long entertainment is included, such as:

BOUNCE Freestyle

BOUNCE Freestyle, the indoor trampoline centre, will feature a pop-up at the WBBL Big Weekend. Test your skills at Parkour, Slack Line, Battle Beams, or just have fun bouncing around!

Kids Passport to Explore

In the free copy of the WBBL Program, available upon entry, you will find the Scorchers Kids Passport. This outlines a range of activities on offer for your little ones over the WBBL Big Weekend, with a special experience reserved for those who complete them all!

Giveaways

In true WBBL style, there’ll be lots of opportunity to score some freebies through giveaways. Perth Scorchers flags, stress balls & Holman clap sticks will all up for grabs during the day, so keep your eyes peeled!

Live at the Loft

Langer’s Loft, the function space overlooking the WACA grounds, is being reinvented as a new social space, with live music and a burger slider menu. Boasting an incredible view, best to get down early to avoid missing out on a spot.

Mini Blaze & Amber Hero Dress Up Competition

This year, two lucky junior fans get to experience a special Scorchers moment – dressing up as mini Blaze or Amber and running onto the field with Blaze, Amber and the Firelighter dancers for pre-game entertainment. For your chance to win the Blaze & Amber Hero Dress Up competition, see the Scorchers website.

Fan of the Match

At every Scorchers game this season, one fan will be crowned the ‘Fan of the Match’, with the lucky winner joining the Scorchers on field after the match. Show your team spirit by wearing your craziest, most orange outfit and make some noise!

Fan Zone Fun

The Fan Zone is just as action-packed as the field. Make sure you visit to meet the Casanovas, practice bowling in the inflatable net, find out about the ICC T20 World Cup, check out the VR experience and try out Ice Bowling!

The WBBL Big Weekend kicks off 4pm this Friday. For more information, see: https://www.perthscorchers.com.au/match-day/wbbl
