Blockbuster film meets symphony orchestra with WASO’s latest, Star Wars: Return of the Jedi – In Concert. Episode VI will be brought to life with a live music performance from WA Symphony Orchestra. Experience the spectacular battle between father and son, as Luke faces Darth Vader one last time on the giant screen in high definition.

The concert will be showing at Perth Convention Centre’s Riverside Theatre this weekend. A special 1pm matinee on Saturday makes a perfect family outing to celebrate those final fleeting moments of the school holidays.

Return of the Jedi

Orchestras around the world are jumping on the ‘movie-music’ trend. Not only are performances of this nature a brilliant way to catch a classic movie, but the live music accompaniment brings much overdue acknowledgement to the most spectacular soundtracks of the film world. The movement is also a wonderful way to introduce wider audiences to symphony music, with popular movies often attracting audiences of families and young children.

See Star Wars: Return of the Jedi – In Concert on Friday, Oct. 8 at 7:30pm and Saturday, Oct. 9 at 1:30pm or 7:30pm. Tickets can be purchased here.
