Held over the Labour Day long weekend on February 27 & 28, the WA Cider and Pork Festival is returning to Burswood Park for a celebration of all things pork and cider.
Established back in 2015, the WA Cider and Pork Festival has triumphed from quaint Swan Valley beginnings to become one of the largest food festivals in Perth. This year, local cider houses are championed, and punters can take their pick with over 100 craft ciders to try.
Top brews include apple ciders from the South West's Custard & Co, who create all-natural ciders with no flavouring or concentrate in sight, apple and pear ciders made with fruits from Carmel Cider Co's family orchard in the Swan Valley, and of course, the out-of-the-box ciders from Caversham's FUNK cider, including passionfruit, pineapple and lemon creations. Grab a pint or try them all with a tasting paddle.
For those not so into fruit, you can expect an array of beer, wine, cocktail and spritz vendors, so you'll certainly find something to wet your whistle.

Pork-focused dishes will be served up by some of Perth's favourite chefs, restaurants and food trucks vendors. Think roast pork belly in colourful, handmade buns from Baolicious, Filipino BBQ and street food from HOY PINOY, and endless options for pulled pork burgers, dumplings, nachos and more. The entertainment has been amped up this year, with roaming entertainment, market stalls and carnival rides across the park.
As a family-friendly festival, kids under 18 (no ticket required) and dogs are welcome. Both day and evening sessions are available over both days, and there's plenty of shaded area to keep you protected from the midday sun.
