3. EDWARD DE COURCY CLARKE EARTH SCIENCE MUSEUM

WHAT A showcase of minerals, rocks, fossils and meteorites, perfect for geology
fans. OPEN Monday, Wednesday, Friday. UWA, Crawley.

4. ARMY MUSEUM OF WA

WHAT Tanks, field guns and military vehicles... see how the Australian army has equipped itself over the years. OPEN Wednesday to Sunday, but bookings needed. Artillery Barracks, Burt Street, Fremantle.

5. FRESHWATER BAY MUSEUM

WHAT Artifacts, photographs and oral history tapes in a preserved 19th century schoolhouse. OPEN Monday to Friday, first Sunday of the month. 66 Victoria Avenue, Claremont.

6. AVIATION HERITAGE MUSEUM OF WA

WHAT 23 airplanes and 21 engines, including the very rare Avro Lancaster OPEN Seven days a week. Bull Creek Drive, Bull Creek.
